Eureka Midstream Donates Money for Emergency Spill Response Trailer

Eureka Midstream is once again proving to be a good corporate neighbor. In September, the company donated money for the purchase of a spill response trailer for use during spills in and around Tyler County, West Virginia.

The check was presented to Tom Cooper, the county EMA Director by Greg Dotson, Eureka’s EHS Director. According to Greg, “This is a win-win situation for both the company and Tyler County. We are not only helping the county to field their spill response trailer, but we’ll also have access to the trailer and supplies, in the event of a large spill at one of our locations in Ohio and West Virginia. Our goal is to work with the first responder community to better equip them with the necessary tools to respond to emergency situations when they arise.”

On April 10, 2019, EQM Midstream Partners, LP (NYSE: EQM), a subsidiary of Equitrans Midstream Corporation (NYSE: ETRN), closed the transaction to acquire a 60% interest in Eureka Midstream Holdings, LLC (Eureka Midstream) and a 100% interest in Hornet Midstream Holdings, LLC (Hornet Midstream).
